Public Health
The “Public Health” working group is a multidisciplinary group comprised of members with core areas of sociology, psychology, health sciences, and economics, and is dedicated to researching health and well-being in different environments.
The focus is primarily on the workplace or working environment. Various research projects specifically examine the physical and psychological stresses experienced by employees and their impacts on health.
The research projects not only investigate and analyze conditions, effects, and influences, but also typically develop, implement, and evaluate interventions. The measures can target both conditions and behavior and usually relate to the field of primary or secondary prevention.
